William Mascetta

William Mascetta

William Mascetta has been involved in the construction industry in Westchester County and New York City for more than 25 years. After receiving his A.A.S. in Civil Technology from Westchester Community College and his B.S. in Facilities Management from Iona College, he began his career with the Community Development Agency in Yonkers as construction manager for its Commercial Construction Bureau. He currently serves as Corporate Officer and Principal of Transit Construction Corp. in Yonkers. He handles the company’s Technical and Administrative Operations as related to its Civil Construction Program. Prior to his current position, he was Secretary/Treasurer and Principal of Halmar Builders of New York, Inc. In 2001 Halmar was acquired by Granite Construction Inc., and subsequently Mr. Mascetta served as Area Manager for Granite Halmar Construction Company. Mr. Mascetta currently serves on the Board of Directors of Yonkers Waterfront Development Corporation; Ridge Hill Development Corporation; Yonkers Workforce Investment Board and Lower Hudson Valley Development Corporation.
