Robert Gottschall has spent nearly 40 years as a Corporate Officer of Chase Manhattan Bank. As Division Executive, he managed 500 employees in 23 branches with deposits of $2.8 billion, loans of $100 million and an operating budget of $12 million. He has also served as the Vice President/Division Executive for the Government Banking Division and Small Business Division. In his role with the Government Banking Division, he cultivated banking relationships with local municipalities as well as managed the Community Reinvestment Act responsibilities for the Bronx and Westchester. With the Small Business Division, he developed strategic marketing plans to expand customer acquisition. Mr. Gottschall is involved in major development projects in Yonkers and serves on numerous boards including Ridge Hill Development Corporation; Yonkers Alexander Street Redevelopment Corporation; nValley Technology Center, Inc.; Yonkers Empowerment Zone, Inc.; Yonkers Local Assistance Corporation; Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Development Corporation; and South Broadway Business Improvement District.
