Michael Morley

Michael Morley

Michael Morley emigrated from Ireland in 1974 and worked for his uncle who owned a food store in Yonkers since 1940. He purchased his uncle’s business in 1977. Since then he has established many successful businesses in Yonkers throughout the last 30 years including Morley’s Supermarket, Morley’s Restaurant and Bar, and Morley’s Catering, Inc. In addition, he has expanded into real estate and owns numerous holdings in the mid-Hudson region. He has been involved in numerous local business groups and non-profit organizations in Westchester including The Lake Avenue Merchants Association, Yonkers Chamber of Commerce, Westchester Irish Association, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Mayo Football Club and Scarsdale Elks Club. Mr. Morley has received several awards from local and non-profit groups for his community service including Man of the Year from the Westchester Irish Association and the distinguished services award from the Mayo Football Club. His experience in business and service industries as well as his community involvement lends itself as an asset to The Westchester Bank.
