The Westchester Bank, continuing to expand its countywide footprint, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest branch located at the Arcadian Shopping Center, 240 South Highland Avenue in Ossining. As the county’s leading community bank and one of the nation’s fastest growing, The Westchester Bank now has a total of seven branches with the inclusion of Ossining.

There was a well-attended Ribbon Cutting ceremony held on October 7th to commemorate the occasion as part of the Ossining branch Grand Opening celebration. Local dignitaries in attendance included Victoria Gearity, Mayor, Village of Ossining, Dana Levenberg, Town Supervisor, Town of Ossining and Assemblywoman Sandra Galef. Also joining the Ribbon Cutting festivities were Karen D’Attore, Village Manager, Tom Warren, Village of Ossining Treasurer, Jackie Shaw, Town Council Member and Gayle Marchica, Ossining Chamber of Commerce President.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring community banking at its best to the people of Ossining. The town has a rich history with the diversity and eye towards the future that the Bank finds very attractive. We look forward to building new relationships, forging new business partnerships and supporting worthy local organizations,” said John M. Tolomer, President & CEO of The Westchester Bank. He continued, “As technology has advanced, the playing field has been leveled. As a result, we’re able to offer the same banking products that larger banks provide but the major difference is the banking experience itself. Because we’re local and part of the community, we take the time to get to know our customers while providing superior personal service and the care they deserve. When you call us, a real person answers, not some automated voice. When you can’t come to us, we’ll come to your office. That’s the meaning of ‘Banking Made Personal’. It’s not just a motto, it is a business principle we execute faithfully each and every day,” Mr. Tolomer concluded.
