Jay Serniak Appointed as Vice President, Commercial Lender

April 17, 2018 (White Plains, NY). The Westchester Bank has announced the appointment of Jay Serniak to the position of Vice President, Commercial Lending. Mr. Serniak will be responsible for organizing and generating new commercial loan activity while strengthening an existing loan portfolio from various business sectors. Mr. Serniak’s banking experience spans more than twenty-five years and includes work as a commercial banker and private banker at some of the largest financial institutions that include Citibank, Merrill Lynch, US Trust and most recently, BNY Mellon. Mr. Serniak has worked with both middle market companies and high net worth individuals focusing on credit and lending. His financing experience is wide ranging and has covered corporate financing from working capital and commercial real estate to aircraft, art and private yacht financing to the high net worth market.

Mr. Serniak remains active and involved with several business organizations. He is a member of the Business Council of Westchester, the Westchester County Association, the White Plains Chapter of USA 500 and the Real Estate Finance Association in Fairfield County.
