| Thomas W. Smith is the Managing Partner of the law firm of Smith, Buss & Jacobs with offices in Manhattan and Yonkers. He also serves as Managing Member of real estate companies which own and operate office, retail and residential properties in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Mr. Smith has structured numerous financial workouts with institutional lenders and federal agencies on behalf of property owners and lenders in Westchester and New York City. He has represented institutional and individual clients in connection with purchase, sales and financing of office, multi-family and shopping center properties. As a former chairman of the Mount Kisco Zoning Board of Appeals, Mr. Smith has demonstrated expertise in land use procedures and has successfully represented property owners before municipal boards in connection with subdivision approvals, zoning changes, site plan approvals and variance applications. Mr. Smith brings numerous strengths to the Bank including legal expertise, knowledge of finance, experience with Federal agencies and real estate experience. |
